On the morning of March 3, Tan Xuguang led a team from Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Weichai Power to visit and exchange ideas with Shaanxi Tonly Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. The general manager of TONLY, Xu Yanan, accompanied and received the team for a discussion on the technological development trends and application scenarios of powertrain in the mining truck field.
Xu Yanan warmly welcomed Tan Xuguangs visit. He said that TONLY and Weichai have a solid foundation for cooperation, and Weichais leading powertrain technology has supported TONLY to rank first in the field of off-highway wide-body dump trucks for more than 10 consecutive years. He hopes to maintain close cooperation with Weichai in the era of new energy and artificial intelligence.
Tan Xuguang said that under the leadership of TONLY, a development path suitable for the Chinese market has been found in the field of Chinese mine trucks. Weichai has advantages in integrated powertrain technology and understanding of integrated mining and excavation scenarios, and will unconditionally and fully cooperate with TONLY to create products that truly satisfy customers and make Chinese mine trucks enter the international high-end market.
Before the meeting, Tan Xuguang and his team visited the assembly workshop of TONLY and had discussions with technical personnel about the application of Weichai powertrain on the spot.
